Overview

"A collection of single-letter creations and one-off typographic experiments designed by Philip Brophy between 1986 and 1988. Includes his written proposition touching on visual-linguistic comprehension and perception; type formulation and legibility; the role of identity in monograms and trademark designs; cultural rhetoric in typographic style; problematics in computer-generated faces; and parameters of illegibility in perceptual experimentation. Heavy on the eye."

"Philip Brophy's fascination with the written word - that is, how it looks - continues. A decade's worth of his accepted and rejected logotype designs from 1978 through to 1988. Great for graphic designers who want to rip-off real cool-looking logos."

"More designs by Philip Brophy. This one's on faces - weird ones, straight ones, malformed ones, you name it. After looking through this collection, you'll never be able to face yourself again.
