Cinesonic 1:
The World of Sound in Film

Sited within the Media Arts area of RMIT University, Melbourne, the 1998 CINESONIC Conference was created and devised by Philip Brophy (then lecturer in Audio Visual Concepts and Soundtrack) with assistance by Philip Samartzis (lecturer in Sound) and administration & promotion by Megan Spencer (graduate & MA in Media Arts). The original Media Arts website was designed and constructed by Carl Priestly (graduate & MA in Media Arts) with technical advice from Ian Haig (lecturer in Video Art and Online Media). Overall support and commitment was provided by Les Walkling, senior lecturer & course co-ordinator of Media Arts.
