100 ANIME is now released and available as softback or hardback in the UK & Europe through the British Film Institute, London (from December 2005); in the USA & Canada through University of California Press, Berkeley (from January 2006); and in Australia & New Zealand through Peribo, NSW.

100 ANIME was launched at various venues around Australia with a special presentation lecture on GANTZ (accompanied by screenings of the first episode of the series): April 2006 @ the Australian Centre of the Moving Image in Melbourne; July 13th 2006 @ the Dendy Opera Quays cinemas in Sydney; Sunday July 30th @ the Australian National Gallery, Canberra.

The lecture "Sexual Robots & Plastic in Anime" has also since been presented nationally in conjunction with the book.
